1853/1899, mostly used collection on stock pages, comprising an 1853 4d yellow-orange (cut to shape), useful range of 1855-60 imperforate Chalon issues (26), including a diverse selection of shades particularly of the 1d, 2d,  4d, and 6d, unusual 6d light blue block of nine cancelled “Tasmania / Post”, range of 1864 perforated Chalon issues from the 1d through 1sh, also with good representation of shades, and 1870/96 later Victoria issues (80+), many used examples with clear c.d.s. strikes, with unused examples also included, owner's accompanying inventory notes Michel catalogue value exceeds €5,100, some small flaws to be expected, but an overall fine collection.

1837, Folded envelope with content 2/5½ unpaid and twice forwarded ship letter to Edinburgh, ms. “1st Ship after the Lloyds”. Rate 1/8 and re-rated 2/8 and 3/9 ½ d. mail tax upon forwarding cross counties. On reverse 22 May and 24 May Edinburgh passing through forwarding, where “POSTAGE TO EDINBURGH NOT PAID” handstamp applied, tiny flaw. Fine postal history to Scotland on exhibition page
