GERMANY – Krötzsch, Hugo: Die Postfreimarken der Deutschen Staaten 1893–96, two elaborately bibliophilic bound half leather volumes with gold embossing on the spine. The text volume contains: Deutsche Reichspost, die altdeutschen Staaten von Baden bis Preußen, on very well contained paper, with supplements supplied by Krötzsch suitably pasted in. Volume 2 contains all matching illustrated plates in very good “fresh” condition. In this form, this is the only known complete copy of the individual volumes from that period. Rarity.
