1845, HIBERNIA: Folded letter from New York with matching red "NEW-YORK 31 OCT 10 cts." alongside to Paris, after leaving Halifax on 3rd November the "Hibernia" ran aground off Cape Race, Newfoundland and had to go to St John's for repairs.
