Parcel Post 1866: Woodblock 2 shilling dark blue on green, single lined 2 wmk., perf. 13, vibrant colour, in combination with Laureate 1869 5 shilling blue & carmine, V over Crown wmk., perf. 13, both fresh colour and perforations mainly fine, tied by duplex “VICTORIA MELBOURNE JY 3 77” to a large piece of a parcel wrapper sent to Geneva, Switzerland, endorsed “Via Italy for Switzerland”, with instructional framed rectangular “DETAINED FOR ADDITIONAL POSTAGE” in black. The 2 shilling has clipped top right corner and there are a number of creases to piece, as might be expected. Rare. Cert. RPSV (2012)
