1877: Stationery post card 1 penny rose, uprated with 1871 8 penny yellow, strong colour and mostly good perforations, tied by duplex “NSW SYDNEY OC 2 82”, sent to Hanover, Germany, with a indistinct cds “18 11” alongside a violet “1½ D” handstamp; indicating the UPU mandated payment of the UPU letter rate to the UK, as if the card had been routed to Italy from the UK. Some perforation imperfections as is often the case and minor soiling. Fine.
