Mexican Express, 25 centavos stationery envelope imprinted with two 12 centavos Hidalgo green in combination with USA 1870-93, Bank Note Issues 5 cents yellow-brown, four singles, the stationery imprint very fresh and good embossing, the US franking good colour and perforations, the former tied by blue oval “WELLS FARGO & CO. EXPRESS GUAYMAS, MEXICO, NOV 5 1885”, the latter by cork cancels, sent to Paris with cds in black “BENSON & NOGALES R.P.O. NOV 6 1885” alongside an arrival cds in blue “PARIS ETRANGER 22 NOV. 85”. Fine. Scarce combination.
