OFFICIALS: 1840, prepared for use but not issued, VR 1d. black, KK, large regular margins all round, unused without gum, one of the few copies not cut from the large part sheet found in 1899 in the Dublin G.P.O and possibly originating from a Postal Notice to all Postmasters in 1840; certificate RPS (1968)
