1892, I.R.OFFICIAL, 1 Pound green, brilliant original gum, lightly mounted, few irregular perforations at top, otherwise in a very good and fresh state of preservation. One of the rarest british stamps in mint condition, according to the Karl Louis Card Index Register with only 42 mint single copies (of which one is in the swiss Postal Museum, Berne), plus one block of four (in the Duke of Leinster collection, Irish National Postal Museum in Dublin) plus a block of six (original find in the 1970ties) recorded; certificate Philatelic Foundation (1951)
