5c. red brown, two vertical pairs, clear to large margins all round, except just cut into at top left of one stamp, one stamp with dot in "S" variety, all stamps with preprinting paperfolds visible to varying degrees including one clearly visible, all tied by red grid cancels to folded letter to Baltimore with red cds. "ALBANY N.Y. OCT 23" alongside, light vertical fold affecting one stamp, wax seal removed, few scissor cuts not affecting design, still very fine. Provenance: Ryohei Ishikawa Joseph Hackmey
