½ d. deep rose and horizontal pair 6 d. brownish grey, tied by numeral "21" to small size envelope with adjacent "MONTREAL MR 19 1859" to France, showing on front London and French transit marks; the left 6 d. vertical crease where the stamp was affixed around the edge of the cover, reverse top flap missing, otherwise fine; a remarkable colour franking of perforated pence values with the largest recorded multiple of 6 d. on cover and one of only 2 covers known at the 12½ d.
