1883: 1 solot indigo horizontal pair, 1 a. rose carmine horizontal pair, 1 sio red and 1 salung brown-ochre, all used on 1887 double rate cover to Alexander von Roessing in Singapore, neatly tied by three BANGKOK / PAID datestamps (25/3) in black. Blue oval 'Markwald & Co.' Company cachet at lower left and reverse with Singapore arrival datestamp (March 30) in black. A magnificent and previously unrecorded cover. Gi. 1,2,3,5
