The "Corriere Mercantile" of Febr. 19. 1844 reports the arrival of the brigantine "Le Due Sorelle" from Callao describing the merchandise on board. The newspaper also reports the departure of the "Maria Antonietta brick sardo" to America. Both ships are mentioned in the above letter. This cover states the existence of a Sardinian merchant service between Genoa and Callao. Cavour was one of its clients, mainly about the guano supplies.
