1858 (Nov): 80 parale deep red on yellowish white wove paper, fine example with close but clear margins, affected by the acid from the ink of address, tied to 1860 registered entire letter to Galatz by oval "Franco Jassy" handstamp in brown (Kiriac fig. 311) with "Jassy/Moldova" cds alongside (25/11) and "Recepisse" at upper left. Reverse with Galatz arrival (28/11) in red. A rare stamp on letter. Signed Heimbüchler.

1858 (Nov): 80 parale deep red on yellowish white wove paper, oily impression, a fine example with large even margins, tied to double rate cover to Dorohoj by oval "Franco Jassy" handstamp in blue (Kiriac fig. 311) with "Jassy/Moldova" cds below (21/8). Reverse with Dorohoj arrival cds (25/8) in blue. Some cover imperfections but rare. Signed Zoscsak.
1858 (Nov): 80 parale deep red on yellowish white wove paper and 40 pa. greenish blue on white wove paper (both stamps with margins all round), tied to 1860 cover to Jassy by oval "Franco Galatz-No. 2" handstamp in blue (Kiriac fig. 309) with "Galatz/Moldova" cds above (1/5) and reverse with Jassy arrival cds in red (3/5). A very rare cover of exceptional quality for this issue on letter. Signed Heimbüchler.
1858 (Nov): Selection with 40 pa. blue on white paper unused and a used example cancelled in blue, 40 pa. greenish blue on small piece used at Folticheni, 80 pa. red on white paper unused and four used examples, two on piece. Small faults but a scarce group, most signed Heimbüchler.
1862 (June): 3 pa. yellow (3 incl. a pair), 6 pa. (3) and 30 pa. pair and a block of four showing two pairs vertically tête-bêche, all unused.
1862 (June): 3 pa. yellow, on wove paper, a fresh and fine mint complete sheet of 32 subjects with large margins all round, showing the central rows vertically tête-bêche (8 pairs). Slight corner tear in sheet margin only but a wonderful and very rare sheet of excellent fresh colour and large part original gum. Signed Heimbüchler.

3 pa. orange yellow, wove thin paper, a superb mint sheet of 32 with central stamps vertically tête-bêche and further six pairs with one stamp turned sideways; a fresh and fine sheet with large part original gum.
Scarce.

A fine lot with viewing recommended.
