1879, 2,50 r. brown-purple used on registered envelope 8 c. from "MAURITIUS JY 21 95" to Switzerland, showing clear strike of rare "A.R.", red "REGISTERED MAURITIUS" and French paquebot mark "LA REUNION A MARSEILLE L.V.No.4", also on reverse large red seal cancel "GENERAL POST OFFICE MAURITIUS" and arrival mark; a rare stamp on cover and earliest recorded use of th "A.R." marking

"MADANG 23 OC 15" to envelope from Finschhafen Missionary to Queensland with censor label at left and censor mark on front, usual transportation marks, little soiled; thought to be the only commercial bisect cover of New Guinea, certificate RPS (2005)
POSTAL STATIONERY: 1943, POW-Airmail letter sheet 1 sh. used from "DARGAVILLE 3 AU 41" to a POW in Germany, M-Stammlager VIIIB, with British and German censor marks (H+G 2)
1908, 1£ purple and black on red, tied by clear "FORT JOHNSTON M.O.B. FE 26 1913" to adress lable, still sticking on original board of wood; a rare and very fine usage
