15 c. green with full to wide margins, tied by clear central grid to small piece, very fine, signed Goebel BPP and certificate Fiecchi (1980)

15 c. green in horizontal pair with good to large margins, together with 1 fr. red, just touched at upper left, otherwise clear to mostly wide margins, tied by light 'grille sans fin' to small mourning cover from "PARIS 11 MARS 52" to New York, showing on front "5" in circle; the pair slightly fixed over the edge of the cover but without defect; a fine and scarce franking, signed Calves, Brun and Goebel

1849/50: 15 c. 'vert foncé', two examples with large margins all round used on cover to Montagne neatly cancelled by two strikes of the 'Paris Star' obliterator in black, with Paris (March 6) datestamp at right. The left  stamp light corner crease before applied, otherwise very fine and fresh;  a very rare multiple franking, signed Roumet, certificate Calves (2007)

20 c. black, 2 single copies, one slightly touched in lower left margin, the other one touched at left, otherwise good to wide margins, tied by grid to entire letter from "MARSEILLE 2 FEVR. 50" to Genève in Switzerland with transit and arrival marks; a fine and scarce first issue letter to abroad

40 c. orange as block of four, close to good margins all around, unused with full original gum, one stamp tiny thin spot, otherwise very fine and fresh, signed with certificate Brun

1 fr. carmine, full to mostly wide margins, neatly cancelled with gc "3710", very fine, signed Calves and Goebel

1853, Napoléon imperforated 1 c. olive on bluish, block of 4 from the right sheet margin, unused o.g., very fine and fresh

1 c. olive, 2 horizontal pairs with good to very wide margins, used with black resp. red cds., very fine, signed Goebel BPP resp. Brun and Roumet

10 c. bistre and 40 c. orange, each with four large margins, used on 1858 cover from Paris to Albertville, Savoie cancelled by lozenge of 36 dots struck in red. Framed red 'PD' below in same slightly orange tinked ink, and Paris despatch cds at right (Sept 8). 'Albertville' arrival cds (Sept 9) on reverse;  a remarkable and extremely attractive cover, unique with the red cancellation, signed Calves,  certificate Jamet/Baudot (2008)

20 c. blue, tied by dotted "CdS" to small envelope with adjacent cds. "LYON CAMP DE SATHONAY 10 SEPT. 70" to Hagenau, fine, signed Goebel

20 c. blue with good to wide margins, tied by 'gros points' to entire letter from "PARIS 16 SEPT. 54" to Annecy, Savoye, which then already belonged to Sardinia, adjacent boxed red "Affranchisement insuffisant" and taxed "5" decimes, very fine, signed Goebel

1 fr. carmin, block of 4, fresh colour and large even margins, at right wide sheet margin with ' ligne d'encadrement ', unused with fresh original gum; tiny surface rub in the outer frame line of the upper left stamp, otherwise very fine; a rare multiple, signed Calves with certificate not mentioning the flaw (2009)      

40 c. orange, tied by clear GC "2240" to entire letter from "MARSEILLE 21 AVRIL 63" to Santa Cruz de Tenerifa on the Canary Islands, fine, signed Goebel

1870/71, Bordeaux issue 20 c. blue (Type III, report 2) just touched at right, large margined 40 c. orange and 80 c. carmine on rose all tied by 3176, gros chiffres of Rocheservière (Vendée) to registered cover to Nantes, adjacent straight line "CHARGÈ" in red and endorsed as containing 'Milles Francs' at top in manuscript. One flap missing and re-inforced sensibly on reverse, a splendid and rare three colour franking , signed Baudot and Calves, certificate Vachat (2010)

ETATS UNIS: Small entire letter with dispatch mark "PARIS R.ST. LAZARE 27 SEPT 70" to Prague in Bohemia with transit mark of Vienna and arrival mark "PRAG 20/10", on front tax mark "32" (Kreuzer) to be collected from the recipiant; a fine and very rare letter, signed Goebel

CORPS d'ARMÉE / ETAT MAJOR GENERAL" to Charité sur Loire and redirected to Nevers, showing on reverse additional dispatch mark of Paris and both arrival marks; a fine and rare army letter
