Carmine overprint 5dr engraved block of four, with double overpint. Fresh, very fine, mint never hinged, backstamped Cosmopoulos.
1912/13, Lemnos Overprints in Black, Red, or Carmine on Greek definitives: Complete mint set of the black, with the high values signed or backstamped; noted three additional 10drs and five 25drs. A single 5dr and blocks of 10L with double overprint among other errors and font varieties. Within the red and carmine overprinted we noted an Argyropoulos backstamped 5dr, three mint and one used 10drs and four mint and one used 25drs. Most clearly philatelic with overfrankings and complete sets affixed, a handful of Gogakis fabrications, nice variety of origins and destinations as well as stamp combinations

Argyrokastro issue: 1914, Very interesting selection of over 80 mint and used singles, se-tenant pairs and sheetlets. Included are several not listed in Michel but listed in Hellas and elsewhere. The main value is in the large multiples (sheets of ten, blocks of 8, strips of 3 or 5) or se-tenant pairs. Also included are several folded sheets of paper with various administrative cachets, with stamps affixed on them tied on them by various town cds.
Surcharge 30L on 2pa, tied with "ARGYROKASTRON 7.Mar.14" on registered opened out and not quite complete cover sent to "Ioannina", scarce
