1915, Greek Stamps Overprinted N. Epirus in black, complete, 1L-3dr overprint reading up, the 5dr correctly reading down, fresh, great perfs for these, unused, almost all are backstamped, very nice.

5dr engraved in a sheet selvage block of four with double overprint reading upwards. Fresh, great centering and perforations, mint never hinged gum with pencil number on the selvage only, backstamped Argyropoulos and Schmitt. Very Fine and very rare multiple.

PRINCIPALITY: 1878, 1pi blue Coat of Arms, never issued. Lower right corner position 20 of the sheet with straight edges at right and bottom as printed. Excellent centering for this and great perforations. Gum staining on the face is common. Unused, seldomly seen.

1899/1900, Allegory Scene Issue: Never Issued, complete, unused, 5pa with toning, 10pa with thin spot, 1pi (two copies, one mint never hinged). Scarce and highly desirable.

1899/1900, Allegory Scene Issue: Never Issued, four copies of the 10pa value, two canceled-to-order by a later 1910s "VATHY" cds and two canceled-to-order by a later 1920s "VATHY (SAMOU)" cds. Two stamps heavily creased, another with smaller faults, one appears sound. Philatelic, scarce nonetheless.

Marathocampos: Registered corner cover (Alexandre Andronikos) sent from Marathocampos to Vathy, with manuscript notice in Greek "Registered 1/2 grossi & Paid", with large boxed "Systimenon" (=Registered) and circular postmark "Samikon Tachydromeion en L. VATHEOS" (Samian P.O. at Port Vathy), both in blue upon arrival. The post office affixed 2 singles of 10 para 1907 (Hellas 9, light blue), canceled with the same postmark (dated 13.FEB.-). The postmarks of Samos are mainly undated (sometimes show the day and the month, or only the year). Rare commercial cover between Samian localities

VATHEOS 30.Apr. 1912" cds (Samian P.O. at Port Vathy). Rare commercial cover between Samian localities and unusual appearance of the complete date!
