1858, Bull's Heads 27 par. on rose with large to enormous margins and nice fresh colour, tied by clear blue "FOKSCHANI 30/8" and for this post office typical red crayon to piece; in the lower part of the design horizontal crease with paperbreak at left, few almos invisible tiniest brownish spots mentioned for accuracy only; a very attractive copy of this rare stamp, only 7 copies recorded from Fokschani, certificate Dr. Gmach BPP (2018)

1875, 2 k. black and pale rose on horizontal laid paper, tied by Swedish cds. "GOTEBORG 6.8.1883" to folded wrapper from St. Petersburg to Landsrona, unusual combination, very fine

1884, 7k. blue vertical strip of three tied by cds. of "MERV ZAKASPS" to cover to Finland with manuscript registration and Finnish arrival mark, cover some faults. Located in the Kara Kum desert, Merv was occupied and annexed to the Transcaspaian Oblast in 1884  

1908, 1 rbl. imperforated and two singles 20k. tied by cds. "Petrograd 28 7 18" to cover to German-occupied Kiev (Skoropadsky administration), franked at the second Inland weight step (Postage 35 + 35; Registration 70 kop), Kiev receiver of 8 8 18. German-occupied Ukraine is a rare destination for Bolshevik mail at this period but was possible under the terms of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, some folds and spots, yet attractive  

1913, Romanow Jubilee 20 k., 2 die proofs in unissued colours, one with complete design, one with frame only, both on chalky paper

1922, Coat of arms 10k., revalued to 10r., and two 5r. tied by improvised violet seal to registered cover with improvised r-label from "Alexanderhilf", a small german colony in the Odessa guberniya, to Tübingen, some minor ageing, otherwise fine, a most intereting item. Ex Robert Taylor collection
