31 August 1944 overweight cover within Barwani City to Barwani City franked with 1/2 a blue-green (5th printing) x 3 tied by "BARWANI / 31 AUG 44" cds (paying the 1.5 a, ordinary letter rate was 1 anna) with "BARWANI / 1 SEP 44" delivery cds. This is one of only two known covers to the exhibitor that appear to have extra franking possibly due to the letter being overweight.

Registered cover from Rajpur to Barwani City franked with Devi Singh ¼ a slate from the wide setting two horizontal pairs and 2a purple from the narrow setting on the front and a complete sheet of four of the ¼ a slate from the wide setting all tied by multiple strikes of the "RAJPUR / 21 NOV 35" cds with acknowledgement affixed on reverse. This is a very early usage of the ¼ a Devi Singh stamp from the wide setting which is listed as having been issued in 1945 (10 years later) by SG. Ex. E.D. Bates

Exhibition page with 1948 1/4 a slate booklet pane of four from the 9th printing used on cover to pay the ordinary postal rate of 1 anna. According to the exhibitor, this is the only used item from the 9th printing. Also included a booklet pane of the 1/4 a Ranjit Singh and a booklet pane of the 1/4 a Dev Singh.

Exhibit sheet with 1948 1a Devi Singh and 1a Ranjit Singh both perf 8½ complete booklet panes of four and a cover from Barwani City to Anjar franked with 1a Devi Singh perf 8½ from the 8th Printing tied by "BARWANI / 25 APR 48" cds and "ANJAR / 30 apr 48" cds. Cover repaired to enhance appearance. The 1a brown from the 8th Printing is rare used on cover as they were used for a very short span from early 1948 till the closure of the Barwani Post on 30 June 1948.
