1868, Carol with whiskers, 18 b. vermilion in horizontal pair, nice colour and good to large margins, with clear central boxed „FRANCO“ and adjacent cds. „CAMPULUNG 8/8“ to lettersheet to Bucharest with arrival mark. The entire not quite complete on reverse and small thin at front, still fine and scarce.

1868, Carol with whiskers, 18 b. dull rose red, nice colour and large margins, tied by boxed „FRANCO“ and cds. „BRAILA 27/6“ to lettersheet to Bucharest (used before as official letter with inside „OLTENITA DIST. ILFOVU 20/6“ to Braila). The entire with small tear at top, otherwise very fine.

1869, 10 bani blue divided into 2 vertical bisects, both with large margins, showing parts of the adjoining stamp at bottom, and each tied by cds. "BOLGRAD 28/4" (1871) to 2 recepisse forms (registration numbers 58 and 59) with adjacent straight line "BOLGRAD". Very fine and fresh. A most remarkable and most likely unique pair. Signed Pascanu

1869, Carol with whiskers, 50 b. blue/red, nice colour and good to large margins with ca. 15mm sheet margin at top, tied by cds. „BUCURESTI 13/6“ to registered lettersheet to Vienna Neustadt with transit and arrival marks. A most unusual and rare single franking. Signed Pascanu.

1869, Carol 50 b. blue/red, 15 b. vermilion and 10 b. deep blue with large sheet margin, all tied by 2 strikes of blue boxed „FRANCO“ to entire letter with adjacent „BRAILA MOLDOVA  29/6“ (1869) to Wexford, Ireland. Reverse with Vienna transit (3/7) cds. 15 B. with small tear, the other 2  values slightly touched in one place each, otherwise fine. A very rare three colour franking with most unusual cancellation and destination. Certificate Heimbüchler BPP (2010).

1765, "ST. PETERSBOVRG", the first type hand stamp, superb strike on entire letter, dated inside October 4th 1765, via Prussia and "MASEYCK" to Bordeaux. An extremely rare usage of this elusive handstamp in the first year of it's introduction and the earliest recorded letter with a Russian handstamp send abroad . 1819 (ca.), lettersheet from Odessa to Spain, transported by Forwarding Agent "HAUSNER & VIOLLAND IN BRODY" and posted with oval "BRODY IN GALIZIEN" with adjacent red "AUTRICHE PAR HUNIGUE" and "L.A."; fine and scarce

1855, entire letter from Odessa to Constantinople, dated inside "1 Feb (?) 1855)", posted with oval hand stamp "ODESSA" without date and endorsed "Voie de Vienne", due to the naval blockade during the Crimean War, with transit mark "WIEN 21/6" on reverse. On front and reverse rated "18", crossed out on front and changed into a final postage due of "6.30/2.20" piastres. A nice and rare letter. Certificate Hitzler (2016)

"PAID AT SAN JUAN PORTO RICO", crowned handstamp, on the entire letter, franked for the local postage with Spanish West Indies 1857, ½ reales blue with good two large margins, tied by 'parilla', sent via British Post Office "SAN JUAN PORTO RICO JU 29 1858", London and France to Palma de Majorca with transit- and arrival marks on front and reverse; very fine and fresh, an attractive combination cover with unusual destination. The card is annotated in Mss. at the top " Received under Soviet Government" to distinguish it from transfers registered in the preceding, brief Polish-Ukrainian (Petliura) period. Trident stamps affixed at aedge, otherwise fine, a scarce, late and non-philatelic usage
