1828 (2. July.), "PACKET SHIP FABIUS ABRAHAM BELL.....", red three-line cachet (slightly enhanced) on reverse of folded letter from Ireland to Pattonsburg, Virgina, after landing in New York treated as ship letter and charged 2c. plus 18 3/4 cents for inland to Pattonsburg, with further manuscript "forwarded" and charged additional 10 cents, total showing as "10/30", a fine and scarce entire with clear strike of this handstamp.  The Bell cachets are registered for the sailing ships Atlantic, Courier, Josephine, and Robert Fulton, the Fabius being very rare and maybe unique

1849, HERMANN: Folded letter dated "St. Andrews Bay 4 th February" to Dublin, manuscript "Paid 24" at upper right, upon arrival red "PAID MR 11 1849" applied, fine entire conveyed on the first trip under the new contract

1863, ETNA: Franklin 1c. blue and Washington 24c. lilac-grey tied by grid to small envelope with adjacent integral cds. "NEW-YORK 3 JUN 6" to Caledon, Ireland, paying the rate of a ½ oz plus 1 cent for a local carrier, stamps some faults and cleaned, otherwise fine

1809, Double weight folded letter from St John to Liverpool, endorsed "to ship Ardent, Cap Bouch", Irish maritime red marking "SKIBBEREEN SHIP. LET." applied on transit, with adjacent rate markings and on the inside flap arrival manuscript "Rec. 21st Jan. 1810", fine and exceptional usage of that postmark on mail from New Brunswick during the Napoleonic period, certificate Wijnants (2022)
