1858, Coat of Arms 10 k. brown/blue, fresh colours, tied by dotted oval "6" Odessa (border post-office) to entire folded letter to Mariupol, reverse departure boxed "ODESSA April 1859", very fine, scarce usage

"PETROGRAD 1- 7. 18" together with 10 k. to reverse of a censored registered envelope to Lida, correctly franked at the 60 kopek tariff, with arrival receiver handstamp; cover with usual transportation traces, one vertical archival fold and slightly reduced at right, otherwise fine and very rare usage

1923, Agricultural and Industry Exhibit 1 r.-7 r., cpl. set used with RSFSR 10 r. and 100 r. (counted at 1 rouble each) on reverse, tied by cds. "MOSCOW 11. 9. 23" to registered envelope to Berlin, all paying the correct 40 roubles rate (tariff valid two weeks only), reverse arrival cds. Two stamps with small defects, of no importance given the great scarcity of those RSFSR-First USSR issue mixed frankings

Trivial vertical archival fold not affecting the adhesives, fine and very scarce, certificate Ceresa (2014) (Geyfman-Nr. 6)

1922, "5 T" handstamp on 5 r. dark blue/green-olive/greenish-blue, good to large margins, used with cds. "PETROVSK". A fine example of this very rare provisional, certificate Lyapine (2017)

1920, "Rub" handstamp overprint on 5 k., horizontal pair, and 10 k. on 7 k., neatly tied by circular postal seal from a local town, dated "6-6-22" in manuscript, to postal receipt with cds. "SHUYA VLAD. G. -6 6. 22" at upper right corner, some horizontal archival folds slightly affecting the pair perforations, of no importance. A very fine, very rare and delightful specialist item, signed Ceresa (Geyfman-Nr. 9, 12)

1925/26, Lenin, imperforated  5 rbl. red-brown and 10 rbl. dark blue, each used on Zeppelin cover of the 1930 Russia flight to Germany, with Friedrichshafen arrival mark of 11.9.30. Very scarce frankings.

1927, Soviet Map 14 k., variety red colour (Sakhalin Island) partly missing, tied by cds. "MOSCOW 14 2 28" to envelope to Praha, Czechoslovakia. Fine and very scarce usage, certificate Mandrovski (2018)
