1858, single 5ø green and 30ø brown, vertical pair 12ø blue and 1862 3ø brown, all tied by cds. “FINERÖDJA 22 10" to insufficiently paid cover, initially franked with, Franklin 1c. blue and Jackson 2c. brown tied by cork cancel, via “BOSTON DIRECT” and “HAMBURG 16 10 71” to Finerödja, Sweden. In red crayon charged with „61“, the Swedish adhesives adding up to 62ø, possibly due to the fact that other values to make the correct charge were unavailable. Despite slight and expected ageing an exceptional and only Transatlantic Mail cover to Sweden which has a combination of postal adhesives from both countries. This is probably the most important UPU Transatlantic Mail cover from the USA to Sweden, certificate Obermüller-Wilen (2011) (Facit 7c2,9d3,11e2,14Bd)

Miscellaneous: 1931, telegram from the president of France, Gaston Dumergue, to the Emperor Haile Selassie, postmarked "ADIS ABEBA 9.1.31" in violet. Very fine and scarce

1874/83, 10 c. black, tied by c.d.s. "VERA CRUZ FRANCO ABR 18 1877" to part paid letter sheet via New York to Genova, Italy, here taxed and postage due stamps 1 l., 5 c. and 10 c. added, tied by Genova cds., very fine

1900, United States cancels, 9 covers and cards with two types of machine cancels and scarce duplex cancel, including May 22 (fencing and sailing) and July 19 (athletics)

1852/1923 (ca.), unused and used collection with covers, incl. postage dues and East Indies, many duplicates, starting from the early issues with Mi.-Nr. 1 used (17), 2 used (15), 3 used (7), 6 used (5), etc., many better sets like 81-92 and 99-100 both cpl. unused and used, nice selection of dotted numeral cancellations, a good section of East Indies with 1 used (4), 2 used (4), some interesting registered mail and multiple frankings, etc., some occasional faults, overall good condition, neatly housed in one album

1850/1925 (ca.), large mint never hinged/unused and used collection with covers, incl. Postage Dues, specialized with plate flaws, shades, printings, many duplicates and better items starting with a fine selection of the Tughras (35) used, followed by a very good part of Duloz types with some proofs and multiples, etc., together with a selection of entires, covers and postal stationeries with a 1850 entire from Monastir to Giannina with negative seal, some combination frankings and better destination like 1886 Postal Stationery card to South Africa, etc., also a fine selection of early Egypt together with the Suez Canal issue. Some occasional faults noted, overall in good and fresh condition, a notable and attractive assembly

1853/1980 (ca), mint never hinged/unused and used collection, incl. postage dues, postal stationeries and parcel cards, starting with two 1853 folded entires with scarce blue cds. "TUNISI * POSTE SARDE", followed by some shipmail, French forerunners, British field post offices, some interesting material like Fezzan French occupation Mi.-Nr. 32 large die sunken proof signed by the artist, Lybia 1-23 mint never hinged, etc., together with some covers; a few values signed Diena or A. Brun, mostly fine to very fine, in four albums

1950/54, sehr interessante Partie mit Dauermarken der Volksrepublik, dabei mehrfach, mit kyrillischen Entwertungen der Sowjetunion von "DALNY" (41), "PORT ARTHUR" (2) und "ANGTSINTSE"(2), alle sauber entwertet auf den Original-Albenblättern von Michel Lipschutz. Alle sind ex Tchinlinghirian und viele bildeten die Grundlage für die Abbildungen in den Teilen vier und sechs. Es ist unklar, ob es sich um Entwertungen aus der Zeit der sowjetischen militärischen Besetzung nach 1945 handelt oder ob sie in Postämtern gebraucht wurden, die bis zum endgültigen militärischen Abzug aus der Region im Jahr 1955 noch unter sowjetischer Kontrolle standen.
