Marchetich, assistant manager of the Tchakwa-Estate tea factory, to be authorized to keep a revolver, dated “1-X-19.” and signed by the captain “Cmdg. TCHAKWA” and one other Russian agent, in pencil the name and serial-number of the gun “NAGANT N° 25683”, folded and tears supported by hinges, nevertheless an interesting document

3s. on 3m. violet-black, with clear double-surcharge, unused with slightly tropicalized as all the known copies have, two perfs at right slightly shortened, a very fine copy of this rare stamp with only 20 printed (one of which with the "inverted s" variety), signed Holcombe with certificate (1992)

1852/57, Prince Consort 6 d. slate-violet, good to mostly very wide margins all around, tied by target cancel to lettersheet with adjacent red "MONTREAL MR 18 1853" to New York with curved red "CANADA" alongside, the stamp lifted for inspection, two file folds, a fine and scarce entire, signed Toaspern and Bühler
