10 bani blue, fine example used on neat May 1872 cover to Bacau cancelled by "Crajova" thimble datestamp struck in blue (Kiriac fig. 495). Blue framed ´P.D.´ at right and reverse with Bacau/Posta arrival cds (11/5). Attractive cover. Signed Heimbüchler.
1872 (August): Emergency Issue, 10 bani ultramarine, a vertical pair from lower left corner of the sheet (Mixed Transfer Types 1/2). Slight gum crease, a fresh and fine original gum pair. Scarce.
1872 (August): Emergency Issue 10 bani ultramarine, a mint block of four marginal from base of sheet(Mixed Transfer Types 7-1/4-5) of good fresh colour and fine and fresh with large part original gum. Rare, especially with the Mixed Transfer. Signed Heimbüchler.

Fresh vivid colour and fine, large part original gum (two unmounted) and superb but for a trivial gum crease not affecting the appearance. Very rare. Certificate Heimbüchler.

Most with large part original gum, a fine and scarce selection.
1871/72: With Beard, cancellation study with 28 stamps; with 5 bani red (8), 10 b. orange (14 including a pair), 10 b. blue, 15 b. on dubious cover, 25 b. brown (3) and 50 b. pale blue & rose.
1871/72: Small Thimble Cancellations (Kiriac fig. 510-588), album page with exceptional examples struck, mostly in blue, on 5 b. red (5), 10 b. orange (8); 10 b. blue (6); 25 b. brown (3). Noted superb strikes of "Peatra", "Tirgu Vestea" etc. Fine and attractive selection.
1872, Perforated issue: 10 bani blue, fine used on cover from Cahul to Bolgrad cancelled by "Cahul" cds in blue (Kiriac fig. 382) with framed ´P.D.´ below. Attractive cover with Bolgrad arrival on reverse. Signed Heimbüchler.

1872, Paris Printing 10 b. blue horizontal pair and single 25 b. orange used on 1874 envelope to Athens tied by "Braila" thimble datestamps (Kiriac fig. 519), underpaid by 30 bani for route taken via Vienna and Trieste (datestamps on reverse). Struck with two line "Affranchisement / Insuffisant" in black and both taxed on arrival (35 lepta) and charged for inland postage (20 lepta) and franked by Greece Large Hermes 1870/72 5 l. green on greenish, 10 l. orange and 40 l. pale mauve on greenish paper tied by Athens ´1´ lozenge on receipt. Imperfections to some adhesives but a marvelous and colourful cover of the greatest scarcity. Certificate Heimbüchler.
1872/79: The magnificent collection with Paris and Bucharest issues, a highly specialised study with imperforates printed by Hulot including multiples and marginal pieces, 1879 mint set (three 50 b.) and used set in pairs, multiples and bisected usages, covers incl. 25 b. and 50 b. on entire to France, 50 b. used block and ´thimble´ cancellation study, 1876 issue with cancellation study, 1879 issue with multiples, cancellation study and three examples of the 5 bani rose error of colour etc., a truly wonderful lot with viewing essential.
1872: "Decoupage" Proofs (8) bicoloured for 1 1/2 b., 3 b., 5 b., 10 b., 15 b. (2), 25 b. and 50 b. A fresh and fine group, very scarce set with all values represented.
