1851/60, 6 d. yellow-green, fresh colour and good to wide margins, tied by clear grid to small embossed Valentine's envelope from "WINDSOR JA 25 1858" to Massachusetts, showing on front quite clear red "PAID 10" in circle; very fine and highly attractive (SG 5)
6 d. deep-green in pair, fresh deep colour and good to wide margins, neatly cancelled by clear oval grid, slight cleaning marks, otherwise very fine (SG 6)
1854, 2 a. green in block of four, large margins all around, neatly cancelled by rhomboid of dots (9:10), extremely fine
1918, printed leaflet, dated '26th September, 1918.' expressing the thanks of Commander in Chief General E. Allenby to the troops
"ARMY POST OFFICE SZ44 / 8 FE 18" (Jerusalem), good strike on envelope (several folds at right and reverse flap missing) to Cairo with adjacent "PASSED CENSOR 6". In Cairo the cover was taxed in error and vertical pair postage due 1889, 1 pia. blue applied, cancelled by Cairo cds.; an unusual item

"ARMY POST OFFICE SZ44 / 10 FE 18", on envelope to Alexandria with adjacent flag censor cachet; though it was the last day of free civilian mail, the cover was not accepted in Alexandria and postage due 1 pia. blue applied on reverse, cancelled by Alexandria cds.; 6 such covers recorded by Firebrace
"ARMY POST OFFICE SZ44 /12 FE 18" (Jerusalem), clear strike on envelope to Cairo with adjacent "PASSED CENSOR 6."; fine and interesting cover 2 days after free mail period expired, but without postage due
"ARMY POST OFFICE SZ45 / 28 DE 17" (Jaffa), clear strike on small cover to England with adjacent censor mark "No. 3346" of Jerusalem with signature "Edward Hodgkeson"; on reverse censor label, small opening faults
"RAK x TPO / FE 24 17" (Line El Arish-Kantara), clear strike on OHMS cover to Alexandria, showing adjacent 5-pointed star censor mark, on reverse transit and arrival marks, very scarce, only 9 covers of this TPO have been recorded
