Amelia Earhart Nonstop flight Mexico-Newark 20 c. red with additional franking of Mexico Air official 40 c. and United States Air post 10 c. and two regular issues, all tied by Mexico City and Newark cds. to flown registered cover, originating in California on April 19th where it was registered with the 10 c. Air post and addressed to George Putnam (Earhart's husband!) in Mexico City, it was then re-addressed to New York City, re-registered and franked with with the Mexican adhesives for the flight of New Jersey, finally it was franked with US adhesives for its last leg to New York City! United States registration handstamp, Mexican registration label and in neat manuscript "Carried by Air" cleary signed Amelia Earhart, with all transit marks on reverse. With this combination of flight, stamp and signature for sure one of the most desirable airpost and Mexico rarities! Very fine condition, in the lower left corner of the stamp almost invisible natural paper inclusion
