1841, 2d. blue, plate 3, early printings of the first three years between  1841-1844, all with Maltese Cross cancellations, the plating selection comprising 42 singles and three pairs, MC»s incl. London MC »5» (faint strike) and Scottish type, condition varies, but many with four margins and fine. Interesting group. (SG-No.: 13-15; approx. £ 5.000.-)

2d blue, plate 3, later printings from the last five years between 1844-1849, all with numeral cancellations, the plating selection comprising 124 singles, 16 pairs, 5 strips of three and 2 strips of four, Conditions varies, but many with four large margins and fine, variety of shades, various London, England & Wales, Scottish and Irish numeral cancellations, a nice group for plate reconstruction and the specialist of plate varieties (SG-No. 13-15; approx £ 18.800.-) Michel Nr. 4
