Kazerun Rebellion 1916/17: Rice paper envelope to Bushire franked on reverse with 1913 6 ch. brown & green overprinted in black (Michel type VII) reading "Kazerun Committee" in black tied by KAZEROUN datestamp. Large oval KAZERUN Censor negative handstamp in violet alongside and friont of cover with two strikes of circular PASSED CENSOR / BUSHIRE in violet. Faults but of great scarcity. Note: The Rebellion was largely caused by the German Consul in Bushire, Wilhelm Wassmus. He intrigued with Nasir-i-Dawan to forment unrest against the British in Bushire.
