SOLOTONOSCHA: 1890, 2k. black/green/yellow, block of seven with "tete-beche" pairs, mint never hinged, scarce and attractive, fine (Schmidt.-Nr. 4)

USTJSSYSSOLSK: 1915, 2k. green, perf. 12,5, used with light blue straigt-line, fine (Schmidt.-Nr. 46)

TICHWIN: 1881, 5k. black on pink carton paper, unused without gum, scarce and attractive, fine (Schmidt.-Nr. 19)

REPRINTS: 2-4 k., two values in different shades, plus four forgeries, good condition, some signed by Hofmann BPP

1866, Green Oval, green/red 2 k. without complete border and very close margin on bottom, pen cancellation on a short note to the Ronneburg Pastorate, back flap missing and small tears, but otherwise in perfect condition, a very rare cover

1871, Green Oval, 2 k. red/green without green border, with pen cancellation and cds., in combination with Russian 1866 10 k. sienna/light blue on cover to Fellin, a major void in the letter on the left side, also some tears and folds, not a common letter

1884, 2 K. gray-black/red/green with pen cancel on cover, slightly mottled, otherwise without faults

2 k. gray-black/red/green as additional franking on a 4 k. Russian postal stationery card to Kleinhüningen/Switzerland, then forwarded to Bad Cleve, minimal foxing, otherwise without fault, very rare  

1884/94, Wenden coat of arms 2 k. tied by cds. "STOCKMANSDORF" to Russia postal stationery 3k. to Riga, few folds, otherwise fine

1884/94, Wenden coat of arms 2  k. tied by manuscript to Russia postal stationery envelope 7k. to Dorpat, slight toning at right, otherwise fine

2 k. gray-black/red/green pen cancellation on letter within the Wenden District, good condition

NORTH RUSSIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE: Cover from Murmansk with handwritten notation "on active service" and adjacent cds. "ARMY POST OFFICE 28 JUY 19 P.B.I" to Devonport, on front oval censor mark "X42", some wear at right, in addition a letter from the British Embassy, Intelligence section to London with censor mark and "per favour of 7.0 bag" note on front, scarce

70(k) on 15 k. and 2 r. on 50 k., as each central gutter block, mint never hinged, folded, scarce 

2 (r) on 50 k. with inverted overprint, complete sheet of 25 with all margins, four stamps unused, the other mint never hinged, very fine and extremely rare

1899, 2 k. green, vertical block of 6 and single stamp, tied by cds. "TIENTSIN 8.3.10" to reverse to registered cover with registered label to Lodz with arrival mark, cover slightly shorted at right, otherwise fine

1899, 3k. and 7k. each as pair tied by cds. "ТЯНЪ-ТЗИНЪ 20  V" to reverse of registered cover to Naples, scarce, fine and attractive

1899, 5k. horizontal strip of four tied by cds. "ТЯНЪ-ТЗИНЪ 27  V" to reverse of registered cover to Naples, one wax and two chinese seals on reverse, scarce, fine and attractive

1899, 10 k. blue, vertical pair, tied by cds. "CHEFOO 14.VI.03" to cover with boxed "PAQUEBOT" to Tsingtau with arrival mark, folded, crease and small tear at top

1899, 10 k. blue and horizontal pair 2 c. green, tied by cds. "SHANGHAI 27.VI.03" to registered picture card with registered mark and label to Copenhagen with arrival mark, without text, fine

1917, 15 c. on 15 k. brown-lilac and blue, 10 c. on 10 k. blue and 3 c. on 3 k. carmine-red, tied by cds. "TIENTSIN 21.2.18" to reverse to registered Red Cross P.O.W. cover via Japanese P.O. Tientsin to Berezowka with arrival mark, cover with small faults at right, otherwise fine
