1858, 10 k. siena/light blue with one-line "Treppenhof." and handwritten date "d. 27.4.63" on folded letter to Riga, a tear on the front has been stabilzed with hinges, otherwise in good condition, very attractive and to our knowledge the only cover with this cancellation!

"НОВОЧЕРКАССКЪ -8.7.22" to front and reverse of correctly franked registered cover to Braunschweig, reverse with transit- censor and arrival mark, the stamps where invalid but accepted by the postal authorities, as had been done with the other covers known from this town. The sender of this cover has later been sentenced to death because of stamp dealing with other countries, two punchholes at left affecting one stamp of additional franking, otherwise fine, a very rare and interesting cover, detailed certificate Mikulski

SOUTH-RUSSIA: 1916, picture postcard endorsed "on active service", from Vladikavkas to London with arrival mark "RECEIVED FROM H.M. SHIP...". The card has been written in "Vladikavkas Caucasus July 1/16" by a member of the "Russian Armoured Car Division squad 2", very scarce and interesting. Included a copy of an article by P.T. Ashford
