"SOLMUNDEFJORD" in type I on 1907, 5 øre green on cover with original contents from Gøta to Thorshavn with clear arrival mark of 24.2.1911 on front; cover reduced by opening at left. A fine example and earliest of four recorded letters, certificate Nielsen (2008)  

"SOLMUNDEFJORD" in type II, 3 clear strikes on parcel letter with colourful 120 øre-franking to Copenhagen, 4 values cancelled with cds. "THORSHAVN 24-9-1915"; the paper of the envelope somewhat thinned behind 5 øre stamp without affect on the franking; a very attractive and scarce cover, certificate Nielsen (2009)

"STRENDER" with star, good strike on 1904, 5 øre green on cover to Sandø with adjacent "THORSHAVN 25-3-1906"; small imperfections and slightly cleaned, the envelope opened on three sides; very scarce, only 6 entires recorded; certificate Möller BPP (2004) Provenance: Christian Andersen (2004)

"STRENDER" with star, clear strike on Christian 10 øre red on "Adressebrev." with adjacent "THORSHAVN 17-1-1906" to Sand. A very fine and extremely rare item, only 6 entires are recorded with this cancellation, on parcel letter it is unique; certificates Wowern (1981) and Vagn Jensen (1995) Provenance: Chris McGregor (1995)

"SUMBØ" with star, 2 clear strikes on horizontal pair 1921, 10 øre green on cover with adjacent "VAAG 22.11.26" to Denmark; a very fine and attractive entire, most likely the best existing of 9 recorded entires, signed Möller BPP

"SVINØ" with star, very fine clear strike on postal stationery card 12 on 15 øre with Christmas greetings to Klaksvig with arrival mark of December 24, 1926; some minor staining, otherwise very fine; a rare card, only 6 entires with the Svinø star cancel are recorded, opinion Möller BPP (2004)

"SVINØ" with star removed, good strike on provisional 20 on 15 øre with adjacent "KLAKSVIG 4.1.41" on cover to Thorshavn; stamp with small gum stain

"THORSHAVN 28.-4.-1903" on 1901/02, 15 øre lilac on 'Adressebrev' to Copenhagen with arrival mark

"THORSHAVN 7.4.1909", good strike on newspaper stamp 7 øre red on special notification form for the subscription of magazine 'Tingakrossur'; usual folds and slight transportation marks. A very rare item, the only recorded special notification from (including Danish usage) the Faroes and the only recorded notification form with a single 7 øre

"THORSHAVN 20.-10.-1913" on wavy line 15 øre lilac and 20 øre blue, each in horizontal pair on 'Adressebrev.' to Reykjavik, Iceland with additional black smudge cancels with arrival marks of 18.11.; fine and scarce

"THORSHAVN 20-9-1915" on parcel letter for 3 parcels to Copenhagen, franked with 1912, 5 kr. and Christian 20 øre and 35 øre; a very fine and rare use of the 5 kr. in the Faroes; certificate Nielsen (2009)

"THORSHAVN 14.-1.-1916" on Christian 25 øre on registered bank cover via Frederikshavn to Copenhagen with transit and arrival marks, stamp applied with crease, otherwise fine commercial mail Provenance: Per Erik Knudsen (2003)

"THORSHAVN 9-5-1917" on pair Christian 5 øre on picture postcard to Vladivostock with arrival mark and Russian censor mark on front; fine and scarce, certificate Möller BPP (2006)

"THORSHAVN 23.6.28" on Christian 1 kr. and Caravelle 15 øre on registered 'cash on delivery' cover to Bakkafjördur, Iceland and returned to the Faroe with transit and arrival marks on front and reverse; a light cover crease affecting both stamps, still an attractive and scarce letter

"TOFTE" with star, good strike on pair Christian 10 øre on 1920 postcard (somewhat reduced in size) to Thorshavn; nice non-philatelic use

"TRANGISVAAG 16-12-1906", 3 clear strikes on 1 øre orange and Christian 5 øre and 10 øre on cover to Reykjavik, Iceland, with transit mark of Thorshavn and arrival mark; some light creasing and opening marks; an attractive and scarce cover, the only recorded with 16 øre rate to Iceland

"TRANGISVAAG 20 JAN 1914" on wavy lines 5 øre green on postcard to a sailor on the ship SS Magnus at Copenhagen, here re-addressed and franked with Christian 5 øre, sent to Bona, Algeria and from here again forwarded to Dublin, Ireland; an interesting and scarce card

"VAAG" with star, clear strike on 1884/1902, 10 øre red on cover with adjacent "TRANGISVAAG 5-7-1904" to Copenhagen with arrival mark. "VIDEREJDE" with star, very nice strike on Christian 20 øre brown on commercial envelope with adjacent "KLAKSVIG 17.7.23" to Thorshavn with arrival mark of July 19; a very rare cancellation in this condition, most strikes recorded are unclear; signed Möller BPP

"FRA ENGLAND" on cover franked with GB George V 2½ d., tied by "THORSHAVN 5.7.24", addressed to Vaag
