1880, "MULTADA 40 c.", oval handstamp on entire letter from Liverpool to Huasco, franked with 1873/80, 1 shilling green (2, one round corner) and 6 d. grey (4, one with filing crease); since the postage paid only the distance to the landing harbor Valparaiso, the handstamp was applied to pay the distance to final destination; an unusual use of the Multada handstamp

1894, 2 centavos tied cds. "VALPARAISO 23.XII.94" to local cover franked with 1 centavo; cover creases not effecting the franking, scarce
