1916, French Republic of Korytsa Eagle & Surcharges Issue, complete set of five, each tied on fragment by "KORYTSA" cds. The 25c on 50L is signed by Chiavarello with his certificate (1967). Only 30 to 35 stamps were overprinted of the high value, making complete sets almost impossible to assemble. Sound, great centering and perforation, nice cancelation strikes. Very Fine and very rare. Signed and/or backstamped by Simmermacher, Schmitt, Chiavarello and others

1916, French Republic of Korytsa Eagle & Surcharges Issue, three used, including a single of the 25c on 3L and two 25c on 25L definitives. The 25c on 3L was previously hinged or attached on fragment, still has part original gum, signed and backstamped. Both 25c on 25c are each tied to fragment by "KORYTSA" cds. Signed in pencil; one has a pulled perforation at upper left, common for these stamps.
