UNITED STATES - BARBADOS: 1865, Postal stationery envelope 3 c. rose with additional franking 1861/67, 24 c. grey, 1 c. blue and 2 copies 3 c. rose, all cancelled by small grid with adjacent "WATERTOWN MASS NOV 25" via "ST. THOMAS .." to Barbados with arrival mark of December 21 on front; 1 c. with most of left margin removed and left 3 c. with small tear at top, otherwise fine, a very attractive and scarce franking

VENEZUELA - FRANCE: 1873, Entire letter from Caracas to Bordeaux, privately carried to St. Thomas and posted at Danish PO with clear cds. "ST. THOMAS 28/4 1873", endorsed "voie de St. Nazaire", but instead sent to Bremen with arrival mark of April 17 and frontside boxed "Aus Westindien über Bremen"; the German post charged "5" groschen to France, which charged a total of "11" decimes to the recipient; a scarce entire
