CONSTANTINOPLE: 1863, unpaid entire folded letter from "KONSTANTIN TOURKIA 27 SEPT 63" to Athens with red crayon marking "80", paid with a 80 l. with great color, relief and margins, tied by Athens cds., very desirable and very nice
1870/80: Two items showing the three postmarks of Constantinople: Pair of cleaned plates 20 l., canceled with dotted "95" on entire letter from "KONSTANTINOUPOLIS TOURKIA 2 MAY" to Athens with oval DP (postage paid) and small envelope franked with Athens printing, 30 l. (UPU rate), tied by "KONSTANTIN TOURKIA 30 JAN 80", sent to the Captain of the French ship 'La Provence' at Piraeus. Excellent margins, interesting and very nice
1853/60, one paid and two unpaid letters to Athens resp. Syros, two with "KONSTANTINOUPOLIS TOURKIA" (type II) in blue resp. black, the other one with "KONSTANTIN TOURKIA", interesting & very fine
SMYRNE: 1863/68, two entire letters to Constantinople and Syros, the first franked with 2 copies 40 l. consecutive printings (one with three margins), the other with single 80 l. consecutive printings (three margins), all cancelled with dotted "96", very interesting and nice
POST IN ROMANIA: "133" SULINA, dottet numeral, clear central strike on Large Hermes meshed paper 40 l. lilac on blueish; stamp with marginal repair for optical reasons. An extremely rare cancellation, just one further strike recoded by Daes
SHIP MAIL: 1853, "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO Metelino", oval markin on entire letter to Larnaca on Cyprus, very fine
1863, "Eplirothi" (=paid, used by a Greek ship) oily blue octagonal marking, on letter sheet from Mytilini (Lesvos island) to Syros 30.3.1863, rated "20" in red crayon, paid with a pair Athens provisional printing 10 l. (left stamp cover crease), very interesting and fine
1860, "Ellin. Atmoploia Praktor. Konst/poleos 17.3.60" (Hellenic Steamship Co. Constantinople Agency) blue datestamp, on unpaid letter sheet addressed to the agent of the Company "Dim. Galopoulos, at Volos", to be given to "P. Patakis", ex Lasakrides & Antypas collections, very interesting and fine
1910's, John Mac Duell Hellenic Steamship Co, 2 covers, first with blue handstamp "Elliniki Atmoploia John Mac Duell & Varvour, Atmoplion Mykali" (steamer Mycale) tying a 25 lepta Flying Hermes on cover from Patras to Canada via Corfu, and Circular blue handstamp "Elliniki Atmoploia John Mac Duell" tying a 25 lepta lithographic definitive on corner cover to Berlin, cover folds and transportation marks, very unusual
