SPANISCHER ERBFOLGEKRIEG: 1712, Eberhard Ludwig, Herzog von Württemberg, eigenhändige Unterschrift auf kpl. Faltbrief "per Staffetta" und mit 'Nota bene'-Zeichen von Stuttgart an seinen geheimen Rat und Abgesandten am kaiserlichen Hof Dr. Johann Heinrich von Schütz in Wien; rückseitig gut erhaltenes rotes Lacksiegel. Im Brief waren dringende Nachrichten für den Kaiser beigefügt, worum es um besorgniserregende Bewegungen französischer Truppen im Elsaß ging und die Bitte, den Marsch der kaiserlichen Truppenteile an den Oberrhein zu beschleunigen. Tatsächlich ging der Herzog bald darauf mit der Reichsarmee unter seinem Kommando über den Rhein. Ein interessanter und seltener Brief
SPANISCHER ERBFOLGEKRIEG: 1712, Kpl. Brief des kaiserlichen Generalkriegskommissars Feldmarschall Schlik zu Bassano und Weißkirchen von Wien an den Bürgermeister und Rat der Stadt Eder. Bezüglich des Durchzuges der Armeen an den Oberrhein und in die Niederlande, teilt er mit, dass er die Stadt Eger davon nicht völlig verschonen könne, da man nicht der Oberpfalz die gesamte Last anlasten könne
