The date slug is incorrect and the year slug is inverted. This is the earliest known usage of the 1a from the 8th Printing which, according to Barwani archives, was issued in 1948.The 1a brown from the 8th Printing is rare used on cover as they were used for a very short span from January 1948 till the closure of the Barwani Post on 30 June 1948.
