Rhodos: 1879, entire letter from Bristol to Rhodos, franked with Victoria 2½ d. rosy mauve, tied by "BRISTOL JY 29 79 / 131" duplex, French Calais entry cds in red alongside, reverse with Lyon - Marseille Spécial TPO transit cds and blue "RHODES 9 AOUT 79" arrival cds., a very rare incoming item from the United Kingdom; certificate Roumet (2006).

Tunis: 1856, letter sheet from Tunis to France, franked with 1853 Napoléon imperforated 20 c. blue in a left marginal horizontal strip of three, touched in two places but generally good to large margins, tied by PC "3716" of Bone with adjacent "TUNIS 17 SEPT. 56" (Pothion = 21 points) and framed "P.P." in red, reverse with Bone Algerie, Marseille & Montpellier transit and St. Pons arrival (Sept 26) cds's. Charge '4' décimes due upon arrival. A scarce and attractive item; signed Calves; cert. Roumet (1998). Note: Adhesives on mail from Tunis were cancelled in Bone, Algeria with the Petits Chiffres '3716' or Gros Chiffres '5015', respectively in the years between 1852 and 1862. In 1863 Tunis became a Bureau de distribution and received its own Gros chiffres '5107'.

Tunis: 1873, entire letter from Tunis to Marseille, franked with 1871/73 Cérès 10 c. brown on rose and two singles of 25 c. blue, tied by GC '5107'  with adjacent "TUNIS 7 OCT 73" (Pothion = 13 points), framed PD in red and "TUNIS-PAR-BONE ALGERIE 8 OCT 73" cds in red, reverse with Marseille arrival (Oct 12) cds.; one short perf, otherwise fine and fresh, a scarce and attractive item with the 60 c. rate for covers up to 10 gr. which were transported with 'Paquebots de l'Algérie' vessels  

1966, Birds 50-500fr., block of four from the lower right sheet margin with complete printing date, fine

1871, General issue Napoleon 30 c. brown, 2 horizontal pairs, with Ceres 10 c. bistre, strip of 3, 2 pairs and single, all tied by lozange of dotts to quadruple rate lettersheet (not quite complete on reverse) from "MOULE GUADELOUPE 27 FEBR. 72" to Nantes. By mistake boxed "Affranchisement insuffisante" applied, but cancelled by romboid of diamonts. Creases affecting all Ceres stamps, 3 stamps applied defective, still a very attractive entire with an impressive and rare franking.

Frankreich: 1932, 3. Südamerikafahrt mit Auflieferung Friedrichshafen, Karte mit hoher Frankatur von "MULHOUSE 14.4.32" nach Recife mit Ankunftsstempel, einwandfrei

Französisch-Sudan: 1933, 8. Südamerikafahrt mit Auflieferung Friedrichshafen, R-Brief von "TOMBOUCTOU 6.SEPT."33" nach Pernambuco mit Ankunftsstempel, eine Marke mit leichtem Eckbug, sonst einwandfrei, seltene Zulieferung

Indochina: 1933, 8. Südamerikafahrt mit Auflieferung Friedrichshafen, R-Brief von "SAIGON 15.9.33" mit Flugpostmarken nach Recife mit Ankunftsstempel, leichte Beförderungsspuren, einwandfrei, sehr seltene Zuleitung

„SUMNU 81“ all arabic double circle, 3 strikes on 1868/70, 20 pa. green in strip of 3 as onward franking on reverse of opened out envelope, originally dispatched in „CHALONS S MARNE 30 MAI 74“, franked with Ceres perforated 1 c., 2 c. (2) and 25 c. (3) and sent to Shumnu and from here to Constantinople, the family name in cut out from the address, usual minor transportation marks, otherwise fine. The most extraordinary combination franking of Ottoman Post in Bulgaria. Opinion Todd AIEP.

TATARPAZARI: 1863, entire letter to Deraliye, franked on the revers with Tughra postage due 2 pia. on brown and 1 pia. on red-brown, tied by ‚battal‘. A very fine and rare franking from bulgarian soil. Signed Kuyas and opinion Todd AIEP.

FRANCE - GREECE: 1863, lettersheet from Marseille via Trieste to Patras, franked with 1853/61, 80 c. rose and 1862/72, 10 c. bistre, 20 c. blue and 40 c. orange, tied by railway mark "LM 2°" with adjacent "MARSEILLE A LYON 2° 15 JUIN 63"; on reverse several transit- and arrival marks.The 80 c. lightly touched in one place, 2 other values perforation faults, otherwise fine. A very rare and most unusual letter via this route; supposed to be the only letter from France via Triest to Greece.

FRANCE - IONIAN ISLANDS: 1848/57, 2 covers from the same correspondance from Boulogne to the Ionian Bank at Corfu, the first 1848 prepaid with 15 decimes, the other one unpaid and taxed with "1/3" shilling

FRANCE - IONIAN ISLANDS: 1855, letter sheet with part of contens from Villemomble to Corfu, franked with 1853/61, 20 c. blue in strip of 5, tied by PC "3613"; on front Corfu arrival mark of 25.6., on reverse Trieste transit mark; small faults; a very scarce destination.

FRANCE - TURKISH EMPIRE (EPIRUS): 1860, lettersheet from Annonay via Trieste to Preveza, franked with 1853/61, 20 c. blue, single and horizontal strip of 4, tied by PC "89" with adjacent "ANNONAY 7 MAI 60"; adjacent "P.P." deleted and substituted by boxed "PD". The strip with faint horizontal crease at top, still fine ; a rare letter to a most unusual Destination.
