MAURITIUS MY 15 1860" to Calcutta, India with clear "CALCUTTA SHIPLETTER 1860 JU 22 Bg." with manuscript "5a". Very fine and rare 8d. rate, paying the letter rate via Aden. A similar cover from the same correspondence, sent one week earlier, was in the Kanai collection.
