Bremen Steamer", changed into "Open mail" with adjacent "U.S.PKT:", part paid till England, here rated "7" sgr. for British and Belgium transit, in Hamburg taxed with "9 1/2" sgr. including Prussian transit; in Denmark charged with "36" skilling. A very scarce 'British open mail' letter in this period.
