1919, British Occupation Surcharges 2r. (2), 3r. (2) and 5r. (2) tied by cds. "BATUM -5 5. 20" to a registered card to France, violet boxed registration, reverse arrival cds. "BORDEAUX GIRONDE 5 - 6 20", very fine and scarce usage
1956/57, wm 'St. Edward's crown' 1½ a. on 1½ d. In horizontal pair (separated at bottom) with 1952/54, ½ a. on ½ d., used on commercial airmail cover from "BAHRAIN .. FE 57" to Doha, Qatar; the envelope with some marginal transportation faults, the pair in very fine condition (partly lifted for inspection of watermark). One of the greatest rarities of the British agencies in Arabia; only one further copy of this rare stamp has been recorded from Bahrain (also on cover). Certificate David Brandon (1997)
1915, British Occupation, complete set of thirteen, very fresh and clean assembly, neatly tied by cds "DUALA 14 7 15 (KAMERUN) a", 2m. one short perf., otherwise very fine, signed Bothe
1851, Beaver 3p. red and Albert 6p. slate violet, fresh color and each with good margins, tied by straight-line "PAID" resp. "REGISTERED" to front of colorless embossed registered cover with adjacent cds. "LOSKEY UC Febr. 9th 1856" to New York, with red "PAID" and manuscript "15" alongside, two vertical folds not affecting the adhesives, the stamps cleaned and partially repaired, especially 6p. at upper left corner. Despite the faults on outstanding item with only one other cover known to the US paying the 9p. rate.

The entire with small paper fault in the address area, still fine. A rare entire.
