1869, POSTAGE on 3 d. blue, horizontal pair, tied to envelope with adjacent "DURBAN NATAL OCT 23 " (1870) to camp Poona, Bombay Presidency, with frontside "BOMBAY SHIP LETTER" and arrival mark. The envelope has been restored, franking in very fine condition. A scarce destination letter

"CAPE -TOWN AU 11 80" to Wiesbaden, marked in blue crayon "2" for double weight cover with further strike of black "T" and charged with "160" Pfg., reverse with transit and arrival mark, some transportation wear, adhesives few imperfections, somewhat tones, nevertheless an remarkably attractive and rare entire, unsurprisingly, the majority of the other known examples were sent to the British Isles, thus a rare destination

1852/1910 (ca.), 2-volume collection, starting with some Cape triangles including a block of four 4 d., then mainly postal history collected with about 170 letters (many 1860s and 1870s) and postal stationary, besides registered mail, much foreign mail with some unusual destinations, railway mail, some picture postcards, etc. A nice and interesting object.

1853/64, Cape Triangulars, specialized unused and used collection, good range of shades throughout, better items such as One Shilling green (5), also 4d. blue, pair tied by triangular barred cancel to folded entire to Paarl, reverse red postmark "WELLINGTON NO 24 1855", and 4d. blue tied by triangular barred cancel to an envelope with "GRADOCK 1855" oval datestamp alongside, some minor faults. Usual defects for those delicate issues, overall condition is poor to fine
