1859, Great Britain 1857 1d. red star, wmk. Large Crown, perf. 14, horizontal strip of three lettered QD-QF, tied by duplex "A25 MALTA AP 16 59" to folded letter to Messina with arrival mark, fine
"B02" on 1 Sh. green with adjacent blue "SUEZ MR 26 64" on "TELEGRAM"- envelope to Bombay, very fine. Enclosed also Telegram form used in 1864, but not belonging to the envelope.
1865/85, interessante Partie mit 20 losen Marken und 9 Briefen bzw. Karten, dabei 6d. lila mit "B02" auf Brief nach Edinburgh, 4d. orange im Paar auf Brief ab "A25 MALTA AU 22 65" nach Messina, 1sh. grün, zwei waagerechte Paare als Viererstreifen mit "B01" ALEXANDRIA, einige lose Werte 1sh. grün mit "B32" BUENOS AIRES und "C35" PANAMA, etwas unterschiedliche Erhaltung
1866/1957, used collection with stamps and covers, presented within two large albums, a stockbook and a small file, comprising a study from Turkish Provinces through to modern commemorative issues, includes scarcer early usages such as 5 pi. rose used on 1866 cover from Cairo to Alexandria, a 2 pi. blue used on 1870 wrapper to Cairo, noted a very attractive registered 1879 envelope franked with a vertical pair of 1 pi. rose, also a selection of Austrian, French, British and Italian Foreign Post Offices in Egypt, strong assortment of Aerial Post/Air Mail, with Zeppelin covers, some express mail, postal stationery, censored mail and postage dues, many complete used sets; a reasonably comprehensive assembly in mostly fine condition.
