MANILLA-LONDON: 1840, Folded entire to London endorsed on the inside flap "MANILA 1840", on front "VIA BOMBAY" with red framed "INDIA", reverse red cds. "CALCUTTA STEAM LETTER PAID", very fine, scarce Spanish colonial mail via India
"PONCE" black-bluish straight-line with adjacent blue handstamp "2Rs.", on a domestic envelope to Puerto Rico, endorsed in manuscript "Sin Cargo" (without charge) on the back flap, nevertheless charged, few small worm holes, still fresh and fine
1893, Landing of Colombus 3 c. dark green, fresh colours, unmounted mint, one short perf as often with this issue, otherwise very fine and scarce (Scott-Nr. 133)
3 c. dark green, First Day Cover, mis-perforated stamp with extra vertical row of perforations through centre, tied by cds. "SAN JUAN 19 NOV 93"; one short perf and tiny part missing at top due to the nature of the variety, otherwise fine and very scarce usage (Scott-Nr. 133)
1850/1950 substantial used and mint stamp collection, comprising eleven albums, covering Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Scandinavia, Ireland, with a selection of Gibraltar, San Marino, Malta, Andorra, Vatican City, some colonies for Spain, Portgual and Netherlands, gaps and especially so for the early period, quite mixed, although better material to be found, also a very fine album of United Nations stamp issues Michel 1/347, almost exclusively mint never hinged, an expansive accumulation.
