GALLEN 18 SEPT 66 5A“ auf Faltbrief nach Madrid, mit nebengesetztem „PD“ und rückseitigem Transit- und Ankunftsstempel, die rechte Marke mit einige unbedeutend verkürztem Zähne, der Brief sehr leichte Alterungsspuren, sonst sehr gute Erhaltung, signiert Weid sowie Fotoattest Hermann (2022) (Zumstein 34)

COLONIAL PERIOD: 1796, cover front of a registered mail from Cuba to Santander carried by brigantine "La Divina Pastora", with red oval "HAVANA Franco", alongside two-line "ISLAS DE BARLOVENTO", both struck twice, endorsed on the reverse "3 de Septiembre 1796", some usual minor soiling and wrinkles, with large part of the back missing. Earliest ship´s register mail recorded from Cuba to Spain and extremely rare combination of postmarks, ex "Nuevo Mundo"

SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR, 1899: Folded entire struck with blue "SOLDIER´S LETTER:" and cds. "PHILIPPINE ISLANDS MANILA MIL. SIA MAY 12 1899", sent to Kansas, USA, reverse arrival cds. "LAWRENCE  KANS.", taxed upon arrival; some paper wrinkle, still fine and scarce American military mail

VENEZUELA-SPAIN: 1848, Commercial lettersheet endorsed inside "La Guaira Mayo 21 de 1848" to San Sebastian, Spain, with very fair strikes of the red postmarks "YNDIAS" and "5R" (reales) struck on arrival at Spanish port, unclear red arrival cds. "SAN SEBATIAN" on reverse, some age stains and small tear, still fine and very scarce

1859, König Georg V, 3 Groschen gelborange, farbfrisch und allseits breitrandig geschnitten, mit leicht und klar aufgesetztem blauen DKr. "BREMERHAFEN 25 9" (1860) auf Faltbriefhülle nach Bilbao/Spanien, mit vorderseitig rotem Grenzübergangs-Ra1 "PRUSSE." sowie spanischem Tax-Stempel "4R." in blau, der das noch vom Empfänger zu zahlende Inlandsporto auswies. Eine seltene und sehr attraktive Teil-Frankatur.
