1861/1979 (ca.), extensive unused and mostly used collection in three albums, strength in the issues up to the 1890s, starting with a 1775 Ship Letter to London (one of the earliest entires known from St Vincent) and an assortment of Abbreviated Village Datestamps with "BA" Barrouallie, "BEQ" Bequia (x2), "CA" Calliaqua (x2, one in black), "CH" Chateaubelair, "CO" Colonarie, "K" Kingston (x5, one in red), "RAB" Rabacca (x2), followed by a strong selection of mostly used classics, many better items like SG-Nr. 10 used (cert. BPA), 28a unsevered pair used (cert. RPSL), 34 both used and unused, 35 used (x2, small faults), 11 wmk reversed and inverted used (cert. Brandon), etc., together with a very fine group of covers and Revenue stamps used postally. 1900/21 (ca.), POSTAL HISTORY OF THE SREM REGION, specialized collection on 35 exhibition pages including many scarce postmarks, some believed to be unique, and other remarkable items such as 1906 35 f. franking on postal stationery card sent by express from the 11. Imperial Dragoons at Ruma to Esseg Fortress, Fieldpost Letter with censor-mark "Zensuriert/k.u.k. Brief- u. Paket-/zensurstelle, Zemun." sent by railway from Austria via Zemun (Srem) to Constantinople, a Hungarian/Croatian mixed franking as fiscal use on 1919 court document or three covers with authorized bisects of Slovenian stamps used in Mitrovica. A fascinating insight into the turbulent (postal) history of this part of the Balkans and in very fine condition.
