1920, 20k. on 14k. cobalt/red tied by cds. "VLADIVOSTOK 28 10 21" to registered cover with Russian and French r-label to Miloslaw, Poland with adjacent polish censor mark "P10" of Posen, London transit and "MILOSLAW 16.12.21" arrival mark, horizontal fold and some light transport wear, a very rare and with polish censor mark probably unique cover, certificate Mikulski (2005) and Drzewiecki (2017)

1920, "rub" violet manuscript overprint on 4 k., horizontal pair, used with cds. "FOKINO", a couple of separated perfs at bottom, still very fine, certificate Ceresa (2013) (Geyfman-Nr. 3)

YAKUTSK: 1920, "4 RUB" violet overprint on 4 k., horizontal pair, tied by cds. "YAKUTSK -1 4 21" together with Arms 20 k. (revalued in roubles without additional overprint) to parcel card, undelivered and returned to Yakutsk with receiver handstamp "YAKUTSK -6 6 21". Trivial vertical archival fold not affecting the adhesives, fine and very scarce, certificate Ceresa (2014) (Geyfman-Nr. 6)

1922, "5 T" handstamp on 5 r. dark blue/green-olive/greenish-blue, good to large margins, used with cds. "PETROVSK". A fine example of this very rare provisional, certificate Lyapine (2017)

1920, "Rub" handstamp overprint on 5 k., horizontal pair, and 10 k. on 7 k., neatly tied by circular postal seal from a local town, dated "6-6-22" in manuscript, to postal receipt with cds. "SHUYA VLAD. G. -6 6. 22" at upper right corner, some horizontal archival folds slightly affecting the pair perforations, of no importance. A very fine, very rare and delightful specialist item, signed Ceresa (Geyfman-Nr. 9, 12)

1921, "500" red handstamp overprint on 5 r., tied by cds. "SHUYA VLAD. G. 17 1 21" to a small piece, early use of this provisional, a couple of trivial short perfs, fine and rare, sign. and certificate Ceresa (2014) (Geyfman-Nr. 29)

(all used at face value), reverse arrival "KAZAN 19 5 20", correct 28 roubles rate for a 1400 roubles money transfer (2%). Card slightly sortened at left and corner crease, of no importance, very fine, sign. and certificate Ceresa (2013) (Geyfman-Nr. 3a)

CHERKASSY: 1920, "20 r" violet manuscript overprint on Shahiv 40 k., horizontal pair, fresh colours, neatly tied by cds. "CHERKASSY 6 5 20" to small piece, very fine and very scarce, sign. and certificate Ceresa (2013) (Geyfman-Nr. 6)

"KHARBIN POST. TEL. KONT. 10 XII 19-02", very fine strike on 7 k. and China 1 c., repeated alongside (T&S fig. 585), to red band envelope to Riga with arrival cds. "RIGA 29 DEC. 1902". The 7 k. lightly toned at top, otherwise very fine and scarce mixed franking

1868, 2 Pia. blue/rose, two singles, left stamp just touched at base, right adhesive with four large even margins, tied by black dotted lozenge (T&S Type 3) to folded entire to Taganrog, adjacent faint cds. "ROPIT CONSTANTINOPLE 68". Trivial peripheral aging otherwise fine, an extremely scarce multiple usage

1925/26, Lenin, imperforated  5 rbl. red-brown and 10 rbl. dark blue, each used on Zeppelin cover of the 1930 Russia flight to Germany, with Friedrichshafen arrival mark of 11.9.30. Very scarce frankings.

1927, Soviet Map 14 k., variety red colour (Sakhalin Island) partly missing, tied by cds. "MOSCOW 14 2 28" to envelope to Praha, Czechoslovakia. Fine and very scarce usage, certificate Mandrovski (2018)

1931, Dirigible balloon construction 50 kop. darkish blue, block of four with right sheet margin, mint never hinged, right vertical pair with negligible production ink traces, mentioned for accuracy. A very fine and rare block.

"LUND 17 9 1892" to 10 öre registered postal stationery envelope to San Marino, Italy, alongside boxed "SVERIGE R", reverse transit cds. "MALMO POST 18 9 1892". Faint stamping of the cancellation device on reverse, of no importance, cover correctly franked at the 40 öre tariff, very fine and attractive, a delightful item combining scarce franking and rare destination, certificate Obermüller Wilén BPP, AIEP (2019) (Facit-Nr. 41a, 41b, 61b, 62a, 64a)

1843, 6 Rp. schwarz mit waagerechtem Unterdruck, Type 1, sehr schöne tiefe Farbe, allseits sehr breitrandig mit kleinem Bogenrand links, Schnittlinien an allen Seiten, sauber gestempelt, oben rechts winzige Aufrauhung, sonst tadellos, ein sehr dekoratives Stück, sign. 1843, Doppelgenf 5 C. + 5 C. auf lebhaftgrünlicholiv, farbfrisch und allseits deutlich voll- bis oben sehr breitrandig geschnitten, sehr schön entwertet durch klar und zentrisch aufgesetzte rote Rosette; unten rechts kleiner Riss geschlossen, daneben Vortrennschnitt das Markenbild nicht berührend; ein insgesamt sehr dekoratives Exemplar dieser seltenen Marke, sign. sowie Fotoattest Neumann BPP (2023)

1845, Basler Täubchen 2½ Rp. schwarz/weißblau/rotkarmin, schön farbfrisch und gut geprägt, fast allseits weißrandig, oben rechts gering korrigiert, sauber mit rotem DKr. "BASEL 23 DEC 1845" entwertet, trotz der fast unsichtbaren Verbesserung ein sehr dekoratives Stück dieser legendären klassischen Ausgabe, sign. Calves sowie Fotoattest Neumann BPP (2023)

1845, Basler Täubchen 2½ Rp. schwarz/mattgrünlichblau/rotkarmin, schön farbtypisch sowie sehr gut geprägt, dreiseitig meist breitrandig geschnitten, links im Rand ergänzt, die äußere Randlinie gemalt, sauber ungebraucht mit Originalgummi, trotz der unauffälligen Verbesserung ein insgesamt überdurchschnittlich frisches Exemplar dieser legendären klassischen Ausgabe, sign. Drahn sowie Moser und Fotoattest Neumann BPP (2023)

1850,  5 Rp. schwarz/zinnoberot und 10 Rp. schwarz/orangerot, beiden Marken berürht, mit klarem "PP" und nebengesetztem Stempel "REYDEN 8 JAN. 1851" auf Faltbrief mit Nachnahme, Brief in guter und frischer Erhaltung, FA von der Weid (1999) (Zumstein-Nr. 15II, 16II)

1862, Sitzende Helvetia gezähnt, 5 Rp. dunkelbraun mit Elzevir-Einkreisstempel "SARGANS 7 JAN. 76", auf dem Brief wiederholt, sowie nebengesetztem schwarzem "RL" als portogerechte Frankatur für eine Auslands-Drucksache zum UPU-Tarif von 1875 auf Faltbriefhülle nach Triesen (Fürstentum Liechtenstein). Rückseitig Transitstempel "VADUZ 7...". Die 14km Luftlinie auseinandergelegenen Ortschaften Sargans und Triesen liegen zwar im Grenzrayon von 30km, was für Drucksachen seit Inkrafttreten des Weltpostvertrags aber keinen Anspruch auf Tarifreduktion mehr bedeutete. Eine interessanter Tarif an eine aussergewöhnliche Destination. Etwas stockfleckig, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung. 

1862, Sitzende Helvetia gezähnt, 5 Rp. hellbraun mit ideal klar aufgesetztem schwarzem "P.D", nebengesetzt zweifach wiederholt sowie Güllerstempel II. Klasse "WEGENSTETTEN 12.III.74" als Zufrankatur auf 5 Rp.-Ganzsachenpostkarte nach Göppingen (Württemberg). Rückseitig Transitstp. "RHEINFELDEN 12.III.74". Eine seltene und sehr dekorative Entwertung in frischer Erhaltung. 

1863, Sitzende Helvetia 60 Rp. kupferbronze und 20 Rp. gelborange, beide farbfrisch und gut gezähnt, mit DKr. "AARAU 15 IX 64" auf Briefkuvert nach Alexandria, Ägypten. Leitvermerk "via Trieste con vapore Austriaco", rückseitig entsprechende Transitstempel von Ulm (15.9.), Wien (17.9.) und Triest (18.9.) sowie Ankunftsstempel des österreichischen Postamtes in Alexandria (26.9.). Ein attraktiver Brief mit seltener Destination und in sehr schöner Erhaltung. Fotoattest Renggli (1996)
