1862, Sitzende Helvetia gezähnt, 5 Rp. dunkelbraun mit Elzevir-Einkreisstempel "SARGANS 7 JAN. 76", auf dem Brief wiederholt, sowie nebengesetztem schwarzem "RL" als portogerechte Frankatur für eine Auslands-Drucksache zum UPU-Tarif von 1875 auf Faltbriefhülle nach Triesen (Fürstentum Liechtenstein). Rückseitig Transitstempel "VADUZ 7...". Die 14km Luftlinie auseinandergelegenen Ortschaften Sargans und Triesen liegen zwar im Grenzrayon von 30km, was für Drucksachen seit Inkrafttreten des Weltpostvertrags aber keinen Anspruch auf Tarifreduktion mehr bedeutete. Eine interessanter Tarif an eine aussergewöhnliche Destination. Etwas stockfleckig, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung.
