1839, kompletter Faltbrief mit e. Unterschrift des Missionars F. Heath und Datierung “Manono , May 14,1839” via “SYDNEY PAID SHIP LETTER SP.16.1839” und Cork mit Rahmenstempel “CORK SHIP LETTER” nach Chattman, Grafschaft Kent mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Faltbrief mit üblichen Beförderungsspuren ist in guter Erhaltung, seltene frühe Post aus Samoa

1888, 2 Mark trübrosalila, farbfrisch mit Stempel “APIA KDPAg 8.1.89” auf Briefstück, bis auf zwei kleine Aufrisse in der Zähnung unten links in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Von den wenigen bekannten Exemplaren der 2 Mark in dieser Farbe ist dieses Stück das bisher einzige Stück mit dem Stempel vom Letzttag, den 8.1.89. In der Nacht vom 8. zum 9. Januar 1889 wurde die Postagentur durch einen Brand im deutschen Konsulat zerstört und der Stempel sowie u.a. alle noch vorhandenen Marken der 2 Mark trübrosalila vernichtet. In dieser Kombination eine der großen Seltenheiten der Vorläuferzeit von Samoa, Fotoattest Jäschke-L. BPP (2001)

1889, 2 Mark lebhaftgraulila in Mischfrankatur mit senkrechtem Paar Krone/Adler 50 Pfennig bräunlichrot (dunkelrot quarzend) je mit Stempel “APIA KDPAg ** 26.3.90” auf Briefstück. Die farbfrischen Marken haben die typische, zum Teil unregelmäßige Zähnung und sind in einwandfreier Erhaltung, eine dekorative und seltene Frankatur-Kombination, Fotoattest Jäschke-L. BPP (2024)

1886, 5 Pfennig violettpurpur im waagerechten Paar in Mischfrankatur mit Krone/Adler 50 Pfennig bräunlichrot je mit Stempel “APIA KDPAg 17.6.90” als tarifgerechte Frankatur auf R-Brief der 2. Gewichtsstufe mit geschnittenem R-Zettel “Apia” (Einfeldt Nr. 2) nach Hamburg mit Ankunftsstempel. Die rechte 5 Pfennig-Marke mit Zahnfehlern und die 50 Pfennig-Marke mit Druckstellen, ansonsten in guter Gesamterhaltung. Trotz der kleinen Einschränkungen eine extrem seltene Mischfrankatur, ProFi hat keinen weiteren R-Brief in dieser Art registriert, Fotoattest Dr. F. Steuer BPP (1994)

1886, 20 Pfennig mittelultramarin mit klarem Stempel “APIA DEUTSCH DAMPFSCHIFF-AGENTUR 17.10.87” auf Briefkuvert nach Stuttgart mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Umschlag mit Beförderungsspuren im Rand und Patina, die farbfrische Marke mit kleinen Eckbügen bzw. Druckstellen, sonst in guter Gesamterhaltung. Aus der frühen Zeit sind nur wenige Briefe mit dieser seltenen Entwertung bekannt, doppelt signiert Dr. Lantelme BPP mit Fotoattest (1984)

20 Pfennig mittelultramarin mit blauem Rahmenstempel “BEZAHLT Kaiserl Deutsch Postagentur Apia-5-2-1889” auf Brief mit rückseitigem Absendervemerk “…An Bord der S.M.S. Adler z.Z. Apia” nach Stettin mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Umschlag ist leicht fleckig, die farbfrische Marke in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Eine der wenigen frankierten Briefe mit dieser Entwertung, signiert Müller-Mark

20 Pfennig mittelultramarin im senkrechten Paar mit Stempel “APIA KDPAg 19.6.88” (ohne Sterne) recht klar auf Brief der 2. Gewichtsstufe mit Leitvermerk “via San Francsico” nach Hamburg mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Umschlag links mit Faltspur und rechte Marke mit kleinem Einriss bzw. Zahnfehler oben, sonst in guter Gesamterhaltung. Trotz der kleinen Einschränkungen ein schöner Bedarfsbrief

20 Pfennig mittelultrmarin, zwei Einzelmarken mit kleinem Poststempel “APIA * 7.2.88” als tarifgerechte Mehrfachfrankatur auf R-Brief mit geschnittenem R-Zettel “Apia” (Einfeldt Nr. 1) nach Leipzig mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Umschlag mit leichter Patina und ein Wert mit verkürztem Eckzahn, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung. Bisher ist kein weiterer R-Brief mit dieser Entwertung bekannt, somit handelt es sich hier um den frühesten R-Brief von Samoa, eine der ganz großen Seltenheiten, doppelt signiert Dr. Lantelme BPP

1886, 20 Pfennig mittelultramarin im 15er-Block und Einzelmarke je mit Stempel “APIA DEUTSCHE POSTDAMPFSCHIFFS-AGENTUR 14.11.87” als tarifgerechte Mehrfachfrankatur rückseitig auf Paketkarten-Stammteil nach Wiesbaden mit Ankunftsstempel. Die farbfrischen Marken sind zum Teil etwas fleckig, das Formular mit kleinem, mit Falz hinterlegtem Einriss und leichter waagerechter Faltung (durch eine senkrechte Zähnung der Marken-Einheit gehend), sonst in guter Gesamterhaltung. Trotz der Einschränkungen eine außergewöhnliche Massen-Mehrfachfrankatur aus der Frühzeit von Samoa, wir haben nur eine weitere Paketkarte dieser Art mit kleineren Einheiten registriert

20 Pfennig dunkelultramarin im waagerechten Paar in Mischfrankatur mit Krone/Adler 50 Pfennig bräunlichrot im Viererblock, je mit Stempel “APIA KDPAg 28.1.90” auf Briefstück. Die farbfrischen Marken haben zum Teil leicht verkürzte Zähne, sind sonst in einwandfreier Erhaltung, eine dekorative und seltene Mischfrankatur mit Frühdatum für die 50 Pfennig, signiert Bothe BPP
