Western Mail & Express Companies consignment balance, with over thirty five nineteenth century covers, several express company printed franks, noting Pacific Union Express (including one on Matteson & Williamson full-front advertising entire), one Pacific Express “Volcano” blue oval handstamp, stagecoach illustrated Coast Overland Mail Company cover, Lamping & Co's Express, Langton, Adams & Co, Greenhood & Newbauer, and four Wells Fargo including blue oval “Ophir” handstamp on missent cover to Gold Hill, scarcer cancellations including Santa Clara and San Buenaventura manuscript cancels, Silver Mountain c.d.s. on 12c. rate transatlantic cover to London (faults), attractive El Paso de Robles Hot and Cold Sulphir Springs advertising cover, dual Union Pacific Railroad from North Platte and Wells, Fargo & Co Express from Stockton labels on redirected cover from Santa Cruz to San Jose (flaws), City Express / G & H PAID label on Wells, Fargo cover from San Francisco to Oregon, and unusual California usage of 1873 3c Official on cover from Grass Valley, condition varies significantly, but with several scarcer covers noted, worthy of close inspection.

2005/2009, interesting group of 8 souvenir sheets, most with artist and engravers signatures, including Scott# RW73b, RW74b and RW75b, 4 certificates PSE.

Also including 2 x the  $15.00 2005 Hunting Permit, souvenir sheet with the Atrist's signature in black (Scott RW72b, mint never hinged, each catalogue value 1.900,-) Extremely fine quality. 1.000 souvenir sheets were printed and sold for $ 20,- each, all are signed by the artist, approximately 750 in black, 150 in blue an 100 in gold.
